Ingredients for 4 servings Applesauce
- 2 apples (approx. 200 g)
- about 5-7 tablespoons of water
- Pinch of cinnamon
IngredientsFor 4 portions of pot gnocchi
- 250 g curd cheese
- 1 egg
- 4 tbsp flour
- water
IngredientsFor 4 portions of breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp butter
- 4 tbsp breadcrumbs
- a little icing sugar
Preparation

For the apple sauce: Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into small pieces. Cut the apple pieces into a pan with very little water and cinnamon 10 – Steam for 15 minutes.

For the dumplings: Mix the curd cheese, egg and flour in a bowl. Bring a pan of water to the boil.
Now use two spoons to shape the dough into dumplings and leave to stand in boiling water for about 10 minutes.

For the breadcrumbs: Melt the butter in a pan, add the breadcrumbs and toast for a few minutes.

Strain the dumplings, roll in the breadcrumbs, serve on a plate with the apple sauce and sprinkle with icing sugar.
